The Mandalorian has become a quick fan-favourite in the Star Wars realm (and later went on to single-handedly save 2020– really!).

Set after the fall of the Empire in Return of the Jedi, the show introduces many new characters, primarily focusing on a brooding bounty hunter…

And, of course, the ever-adorable Child (AKA Baby Yoda, AKA the greatest gift the Star Wars has ever given to the world of memes… AKA Grogu).

And no, we’re not warning you about spoiler alerts here, because we assume you’ve rewatched both seasons in their entireties to the point of memorization.

In honour of this much beloved series, below are a few of our favourite lines from seasons 1 & 2 of The Mandalorian, courtesy of both Mando himself, as well as some of the series’ other defining characters.

Enjoy, and happy geeking out and cosplaying!

Boba Fett: This isn’t a spice dream. I can see the Imperial cruiser with my own eyes.
Season 2, Chapter 14 “The Tragedy”

Mayfeld: Yeah. Empire, New Republic. It’s all the same to these people. Invaders on their land is all we are. I’m just sayin,’ somewhere, someone in this galaxy is ruling and others are being ruled. I mean, look at your race. Do you think all those people that died in wars fought by Mandalorians actually had a choice? So how are they any different than the Empire? If you were born on Mandalore, you believe one thing. If you’re born on Alderaan, you believe something else. But guess what? Neither one of them exist anymore. Hey, I’m just a realist. I’m a survivor, just like you.
Season 2, Chapter 15 “The Believer”

Season 2, Chapter 16 “The Rescue”

Moff Gideon: Mesmerizing, isn’t it? Used to belong to Bo-Katan. Yes. I know you’ve been traveling with Bo-Katan. A friendly piece of advice, assume that I know everything. Like the fact that your wrist launcher has fired its one and only salvo.
The Mandalorian: Where is this going?
Moff Gideon: This is where it’s going. I’m guessing that Bo-Katan and her boarding party have arrived the bridge, seeking me, or, more accurately, this. But I’m not there. And I imagine that they’ve killed everyone on the bridge, being the murderous savages that they are. And now, they are beginning to panic. You see, she wants this. Do you know why? Because it brings power. Whoever wields this sword… has to right to lay claim to the Mandalorian throne.
The Mandalorian: You keep it. I just want the kid.
Moff Gideon: Very well. I’ve already got what I want from him. His blood. All I wanted was to study his blood. This Child is extremely gifted and has been blessed with rare properties that have the potential to bring order back to the galaxy. I see your bond with him. Take him, but you will leave my ship immediately and we will go our separate ways.
